I Lack Continuity Just Like Real Madrid - Kaka

Kaka has admitted that he has not been at his best yet for Real Madrid and thinks that he needs to play well at a high level for a sustained period of time.

The Brazilian's former Milan team-mate Gennaro Gattuso stated that he was not the same as he was for the Rossonero and the Los Merengues star has agreed.

"I think I can improve and do much more for the team," he was quoted as saying by the club's official website.

"I think I'm like the team as a whole right now; I lack continuity, I need to play well for longer periods of time and I need more games. I have to become fitter too because it is hard on me to play two games a week.

"I believe I'm doing my best to get the continuity I need. In order to play well I need to get fitter and adapt to the team.

"I'm trying to find the best position for me. I'm especially trying to connect better with the team's forwards."

Cristiano Ronaldo has missed the last nine games for Madrid, but Kaka thinks that the squad has enough talent to be able to cover any player being injured.

"Cristiano got injured when the team was having a great run," he continued.

"His characteristics and movements on the pitch make him an essential player on this team, but injuries happen in football all the time.

"We have to find our own identity so that we don't suffer from the absence of injured players in the future."
