Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make a return to first team action for Los Merengues in their next Primera Liga match, against Racing Santander on November 22, according to AS.
The 24-year-old winger has not played for Madrid since suffering an ankle injury against Marseille in the UEFA Champions League on September 30 and during his absence Madrid have managed just four wins from nine games and also suffered a humiliating exit from the Copa del Rey.
Ronaldo has been running on the ankle without discomfort since last week and will be involved in ball drills from Monday. It is understood that barring setbacks he will return to regular training with the group later in the week and could make an appearance against Racing at the Bernabeu, four days after Portugal's second leg World Cup qualifier against Bosnia, for which he is unavailable.
While Madrid will be keen to have their top marksman back in action as soon as possible, the all-important date for Ronaldo's return to fitness is November 29, when they travel to Camp Nou to take on treble champions Barcelona.
