We Will Know More About Guti's Real Madrid Future In January - Agent

The agent has left the door open for the midfielder to make the move to Serie A when the winter transfer window opens...

Although Real Madrid director general Jorge Valdano attempted to smooth things over with Guti, the player's agent has revealed that a transfer is still on the cards.

Valdano had lunch with Guti in Madrid on Wednesday and told the midfielder that he could still be part of Manuel Pellegrini's plans, despite his recent omissions, if he rediscovers his early-season form.

However, Zoran Vekic, the agent in question, has spoken to Tuttomercatoweb and did not deny the possibility that Guti could leave los Blancos.

"There are no negotiations and I couldn't say what the chances are of Guti going to Inter. Maybe we will know more in January," he mused.

It has also been reported that Guti has spoken with Wesley Sneijder in recent weeks about a transfer, but Vekic is sceptical over the claims.

"Yes, they have spoken with each other, but it's something that happens quite often because they are still friends, even though they are not in the same team," he said.
