Cristiano Ronaldo Will Become A Real Madrid Legend - Luis Figo

Real Madrid will see the best of their record signing...

Euro 2004:Luis Figo, Portugal
Luis Figo thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo will become a Real Madrid favourite because of his ability, but recognised that individually he will be affected by the success of the team.

With Los Merengues struggling without their Portugal star, his compatriot has stated that he will return from his latest injury and become a club great.

After joining Madrid in 2000, Figo helped them to win league titles and the European Cup and thinks that Ronaldo can do the same.

"Cristiano will succeed at Real Madrid. He is a fantastic footballer with unique characteristics," he told reporters in Italy.

"Obviously, to achieve more triumphs and to have greater prestige, it will depend on the success of the team."

Despite announcing his retirement from football at the end of last season Figo still receives interest from clubs trying to tempt him back.

"As for my retirement, I still receive offers from different parts of the world such as Australia, the Middle East and the United States, but for now I have other priorities," he added.
