Talk Of Manchester City-Barcelona Swap Is Very Exciting - Robinho's Father
The Manchester City forward's dad is also enticed by the prospect of a move to Camp Nou...
The Brazilian forward has been strongly linked with a move to Camp Nou in January and now his father, Gilvan da Souza, has added to the speculation.
Officials from the two clubs are rumoured to be set to discuss the player's future in talks in Abu Dhabi in midweek before a decision on whether he stays or goes is made.
"We are waiting for Manchester City to tell us something about the future of my son," Robinho's father was quoted as saying by El Mundo Deportivo.
"I am very aware of what is said and published in Barcelona in relation to my son.
"Until the two clubs do agree and we officially have a decision, we must keep them guessing.
"Robinho is a professional who is bound to Manchester City, with whom he has a contract, but if your club [Barcelona] agrees, the choice is very exciting. Let's see."
