Ezequiel Garay played against Atletico Madrid despite having recently recovered from injury, and he thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.

Speaking to AS after the game, Garay said, "I know what I was in for after coming back from injury."

"I felt alright after a few training sessions. The important thing was to get the three points.

"It was a classic match. They complicated things in the final minutes.

"They have players that can hurt you in a second. Aguero gave us a headache.

Finally, Garay elaborated on his own situation at the club, stating, "I am taking advantage of my opportunities, even though this is my first year here."

"I am very pleased."
