Atletico Madrid Defender Juanito To Miss Real Madrid Clash
Los Rojiblancos will be without a number of first team players for 'El Derbi'...
Atletico Madrid coach Quique Sanchez Flores has received a boost with the news that Sergio Aguero will be available for the Madrid derby on Saturday, but Juanito has not made the squad.
The defender picked up a muscular problem in midweek against Chelsea, and has been unable to recover. Fortunately for Sanchez Flores, Pablo, who had also been struggling with a knock, has overcome the injury and should be paired in central defence with Tomas Ujfalusi.
In better news, Aguero has had a slight groin injury recently but should be given the all clear to face Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Paolo Assuncao is suspended for the derby while Mariano Pernia and Leandro Cabrera have been omitted from the squad for technical reasons.
Atletico Madrid squad to face Real Madrid: Asenjo, De Gea, Valera, Antonio Lopez, Ujfalusi, Alvaro Dominguez, Perea, Pablo, Camacho, Raul Garcia, Jurado, Maxi, Reyes, Simao, Cleber, Forlan, Aguero, Sinama-Pongolle.
