Atletico Madrid Are Stronger Under Quique Sanchez Flores - Chelsea's Juliano Belletti
The Chelsea defender is a fan of the new Atletico boss...
Juliano Belletti thinks that Chelsea will face a different Atletico Madrid side on Tuesday now that Quique Sanchez Flores has taken over since they last met.
The Blues' full-back is a fan of the new Colchoneros coach after his time in charge at Getafe and Valencia and thinks that the team will be more organised at the back.
Abel Resino was sacked after losing to Chelsea two weeks ago and Belletti believes that the club made a wise move in appointing Sanchez Flores.
"He has done some amazing jobs in Spain," the Brazilian was quoted as saying by Chelsea's official website.
"He is young but he is very smart, he knows about football, he played football. It is a good challenge for him because he has good players at Atletico Madrid and he just tries to help these players play good football.
"It depends on the opponent. If the opponent has quality, no coach in the world can do a good job, especially against Chelsea, but I think for defence they have a good manager and they can be better."
Belletti then revealed that Chelsea could receive a boost if they can upset the home supporters in Vicente Calderon because the Atletico fans can turn on their own team.
"The supporters try to help the team for the 90 minutes," he continued. "I have played there sometimes when the supporters are there with the team, the game is more difficult than against most teams.
"Of course it always depends on the team. If their team fights, if their team tries to play football, the supporters are with the team, but of course if the team don't play well, there can be pressure from the fans.
"Maybe sometimes they don't help the team a lot."
