Higuain bagged both of Madrid's goals in the weekend victory over Getafe and now has his sights sets on reversing the 4-0 scoreline against Alcorcon in the Copa del Rey and he says he will do whatever it takes to help the team achieve their goals, whether he is a regular starter or not.
"Let's go for all titles. After Getafe, now let's go for everything," he was quoted assaying by AS.
"After the Alcorcon game we heard senseless criticism. I will always work to help this team. That's my goal."
His coach Manuel Pellegrini said he is not surprised the French-born Argentinian was among the goals at the weekend but insisted that he must try and integrate French striker Karim Benzema into the set-up.
"It is no surprise it came from Higuain. He is going to have a role in this team, but we had to integrate Benzema, who arrived this season," the Chilean declared.
