Malaga Coach Muniz 'Concerned' After Valencia Defeat
He knows they need to get points on the board...
The Andalusian side provided a stiff test for Los Che but failed to find a goal and a solitary goal from David Navarro condemned Malaga to yet another defeat. They have now failed to win a single game since the opening day of the season against Atletico Madrid.
Muniz insists that they will continue working as normal in their attempts to turn the season around and says they are focussed on the next game against Tenerife.
"There are concerns about the team's situation, but we live normally. This is football. But we need the points," he commented at a press conference.
"The team is playing well, it works well, has done frequently and it will continue to do. If the complete package arrives, the goals will too. The day we win will be our worst game, 1-0. These are the circumstances of football. Everyone is aware that the team played a good game, with chances and just needed to score. We will go to Tenerife with the same desire," Muniz insisted.
