Valencia Coach Unai Emery Admits His Side Had A 'Tough Game' Against Malaga
Los Che secure all three points in Andalucia...
Valencia coach Unai Emery admitted that his side had a tough time overcoming Malaga in their Primera Liga encounter at the Rosaleda.
A second half header from David Navarro was enough for Los Che to claim all three points in Andalucia and Emery said there is now an onus on his team to continue this fine form.
"We want to continue giving strength to this team. We know that the road will be long and difficult, but we will be ready to fight. This is a continuous progress and although the team is good we cannot lower our guard," Emery said afterwards, according to Super Deporte.
"This was a tough game where we've been playing it smart, taking our chances, and Cesar has been very good because he had to make some good saves."
"For most of the game we tried to get attack, but they changed to adjust for [David] Silva and he had to stay tight and press hard, and we did."
