Real Madrid Have A Good Coach In Manuel Pellegrini - Villarreal Veteran Robert Pires
The veteran has sympathy for his former coach...
Pires joined Villarreal on a free transfer from Arsenal in 2006 and worked under Pellegrini for three seasons before the Chilean made the move to the Bernabeu.
"I do not know is if Real Madrid will have patience with Manuel. That's a question for Florentino Perez. It's not the same with Villarreal and Real Madrid. It is not the same situation and you cannot compare the two teams. I do not know what they will decide, all I can say is that Pellegrini is a good coach," Pires said, according to Sport.
"I really like the way he works and understand that this situation is difficult for him because now he has a lot of pressure."
The French veteran, who turns 36 today, said that games against lower league opposition can be very difficult to play.
"Games of this type are very complicated and when teams like Alcorcon play at home, tight and motivated and play to the death it is difficult."
