Luis Fabiano In No Rush To Sign New Sevilla Deal - Agent
The agent believes that it is "absurd" to talk of a new contract now...
Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano will sit down with the club's directors and thrash out a new contract at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan - when the time is right.
Jose Fuentes, the player's agent, has dismissed talk of an imminent agreement with los Nervionenses, as the negotiations would only serve to distract the player from his commitments on the pitch.
"At the moment, there is absolutely nothing on Sevilla's part or on our part," Fuentes announced to Marca.
"It's still very early because there is still a year and a half until the end of the contract...
"It's absurd [to talk about a new deal now] because what we must do is leave the player in peace, let him play and then we will see whether he will renew or not."
The Brazilian striker was heavily linked with a transfer to Milan last summer, but has been in fine form for los Rojiblancos in the early stages of this season.
