Inter striker Samuel Eto'o has insisted that he has never asked for anything from Barcelona and added that he did not have a problem with Barca coach Pep Guardiola during his time at the club.

Eto'o is currently pursuing legal action in relation to his summer transfer to Inter, demanding 15 per cent of the transfer fee for the move as part of his agreement with the Blaugrana but his latest comments suggest his legal action is not directed solely at Barcelona.

"I will never leave Barca in the wrong place. I've never demanded anything from Barcelona. Zilch. They are trying to lie. I will not enter into any controversy, but the signing bonus has to be paid by the buying club not the selling club," he declared, according to Sport.

"My relationship [with Guardiola] has never been bad. If I had something to say it would not be through the press, but face to face. I was with him a year and everything was wonderful.  I feel privileged to have played here. For me it was quite an honour and a pleasure," he added.

The Cameroonian added that the return to Camp Nou with Inter on November 24 will be a special occasion for him and he says that if he scores against his former team-mates he will not be celebrating.

"It will be a special date but I have no intention of celebrating," he declared.
