Barcelona Were Far More Superior Than Us - Real Zaragoza Coach Marcelino
The score did not reflect how the game went...
.
Real Zaragoza coach Marcelino admitted that his side were beaten by a "far more superior" Barcelona side, after they suffered a 6-1 mauling at the hands of the champions at Camp Nou.
A hat-trick from Seydou Keita, two from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a sublime Lionel Messi effort condemned the visitors to a comprehensive defeat, with a Jorge Lopez strike the only consolation.
"Barcelona have been far more superior and won. They said we had more chances than ever to win, but I think we had the same as last week or before, it is very difficult to win here," he said afterwards, according to AS.
"We made a serious mistake, giving them three goals from free-kicks. When they were not at their best in attack, they scored twice from set plays."
Marcelino went on to say that although his side were well beaten, the scoreline did not give a true reflection of the game.
"I expected us to fight and we did our best, but in any case I don't think we've had a really bad game. The result is too heavy for what we saw on the pitch," he added.
