Mallorca's Borja Valero: Atletico Madrid Were Nervous Against Us
The hero of the night was thrilled with the result...
After scoring the crucial equaliser against Atletico Madrid, Borja Valero offered his thoughts about the game.
Mallorca looked doomed having been reduced to nine men with the score at 1-0, but Valero was the hero as he scored a stoppage time leveller. Speaking to AS after the match, he said, "It seemed impossible that we could draw."
"We are very happy, although perhaps we could have won if we had eleven men. Atletico were very nervous.
"There is not a great environment around them."
Mallorca's next test will be a home encounter against Racing Santander.
