Dmytro Chygrynskiy Returns to Full Training For Barcelona - Report
The Ukrainian defender may feature against Zaragoza on Sunday...
Chygrynskiy has not featured for the Blaugrana since straining knee ligaments in their away win at Malaga on September 26 and his imminent return will be a welcome boost to Guardiola with news that Brazilian defender Daniel Alves is set to miss about three weeks after picking up a late injury in the defeat to Rubin Kazan on Tuesday night.
According to Sport, the Barca coach is likely to shuffle his back line with Carles Puyol shifting to right-back to cover the absence of the Brazilian while his preferred centre-half pairing would be Chygrynskiy and Gerard Pique, given Rafael Marquez's admissions that he is struggling to return to full match fitness.
French striker Thierry Henry is still recovering and won't be available against Zaragoza but could be fit for selection in time for next week's trip to Pamplona to take on Osasuna.
