Milan striker Alexandre Pato has revealed to Marca that he will realise a childhood ambition on Wednesday night when he takes to the pitch to play Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The young Brazilian found the net for the first time since the opening day of the season against Roma this weekend and will be hoping to replicate the feat against los Blancos.

"I've never played in the Bernabeu and it will be special for me," he gushed.

"It's a dream to play in that stadium against such a strong rival as Real Madrid. I hope that we have a great game and can get something positive out of it."

Pato added that the victory against the Giallorossi on Sunday evening had given Leonardo's side a huge confidence boost.

"These are the games that every player wants to play," he said. "With the win against Roma, we got the necessary morale to measure ourselves against a Real Madrid side who are challenging both in the league and in our Champions League group.

"Facing Real Madrid brings such great encouragement and motivation that we will give everything in our minds, hearts and legs in order to get the best result possible."
