Barcelona centre-back Dmytro Chygrynskiy has returned to training with his Blaugrana team-mates as he continues his recovery from a knee injury, according to Sport.
Chygrynskiy has not featured for Barca since the 2-0 win over Malaga at the Rosaleda on September 26 when he had to be substituted after straining ligaments in his knee.
Fortunately for Barcelona, the international break means he has only missed one league game, the win over Almeria at Camp Nou. He trained with the rest of the squad on Tuesday and may be available for Saturday's showdown with Valencia at the Mestalla.
Meanwhile a handful of Barca players including Xavi were given the day off to rest. The availability of Xavi for Saturday's game depends on the extent of the thigh injury which resulted in the midfield playmaker returning early home from international duty. This should be known on Wednesday when test results confirm the damage.
