Henrik Larsson has revealed that he helped persuade Zlatan Ibrahimovic to make the switch from Inter to Barcelona in the summer because he thinks they are the biggest club in the world.

The veteran striker spoke to 'Ibra' when the then-Inter star was deciding about the swap deal involving Samuel Eto'o.

After leaving Celtic in 2004, Larsson joined Barca and had two glorious years, during which he helped the club to win the title twice and the Champions League.

When Ibrahimovic asked him about the Catalan club, the 38-year-old had no hesitation in telling him that he would never regret the decision to go there.

"I said, 'If you really have a chance to go to Barca, take it. You have to go because it is the biggest club in the world and you'll never regret it,'" he told El Mundo Deportivo.

"Zlatan is doing very well and I feel also that the Barca fans love him because he is technically gifted.

"He is also physically strong. The truth is that as a striker he has it all."
