After already breaking the transfer fee world record in his €94 million move from Manchester United during the summer, Ronaldo is now seeking to become the first player in Madrid's history to score in his first four Primera Division games for the club.
Ronaldo scored twice in Sunday's win over Xerez having already scored in wins against Deportivo La Coruna and Espanyol and now a goal at the Madrigal will see him achieve the record.
Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, one of Ronaldo's rivals for the Pichichi crown, has already broken the same record at Camp Nou having scored in all of the Blaugrana's league games to date in his first season in the Primera Liga.
