Pep Guardiola is not expecting an easy game when Barcelona travel to Racing Santander on Tuesday evening and hopes Pedro Munitis is not on form.
The Blaugrana coach admitted after the win against Atletico Madrid at the weekend that his team needed to work on certain things and he is hoping they have learned something before heading to El Sardinero.
Racing have made an inconsistent start to the campaign, but Guardiola is still wary of what they can do to his team at home given previous results between the two sides.
“We have had some good results there in recent years, but they have been tight matches. Like last year when we won in the last minute. And we drew with them at home," he was quoted as saying by the club's official website.
"The Sardinero is always a difficult place to go."
Guardiola then joked about his old friend Munitis who he believes always manages to raise his game even higher when playing against Barcelona.
“He always seems to play better against us," he added.
