Atletico Madrid Keeper Roberto Hoping For Comfortable Victory Against Barcelona
The Spanish stopper is hopeful of featuring for los Colchoneros...
With Atletico Madrid shot stopper Sergio Asenjo away on international duty with the Spanish Under-20 team, the door is open for Roberto to take the youngster's place in goal this weekend against Barcelona
"I want to help the team," Roberto affirmed to AS.
"It's one more game that we must go out and win, although it's true that the quality of the opposition is excellent. But they are the same three points that we would get against another team.
"I will try and enjoy it as much as I can, but with the idea that a victory is possible.
"We have the advantage of knowing [Barcelona's] capabilities. We know what we have to do to stop them."
The problem of having a small squad does not phase Roberto, as he believes the youngsters are capable of a comfortable victory.
"In pre-season, the youth team players showed that they could play well and help us a lot. They will give us a hand with all the enthusiasm in the world and between us we can have a good season. I would like a 3-0 victory, and I expect a 2-0 win," he concluded confidently.
