The coach of the Primera Division newcomers says his side deserves more...
After an opening day defeat to Mallorca, the Azulinos are left with no points, already facing an uphill battle in their first season in Spain's top tier.
"We tried, showed a good attitude and an ability to do things," Ziganda said to Marca afterwards, but admitted the Basque outfit were in "better physical shape".
"I'm disappointed that after two games we have no points because I think we deserve something," he added.
Ziganda asserted that his team need a little bit of luck if they are to start getting results.
He continued, "We need some luck, and success. We have played teams with good forwards and good goalkeepers. The important thing is that we are able to create and we need to change a few details."
Next up for Xerez is a trip to the Bernabeu to take on Real Madrid.
