Everton have reportedly expressed an interest in Real Madrid midfielder Guti, and reports from Spain suggest that the English Premier League side are set to make an offer for the midfielder.

Guti has been part of the Real Madrid set up for a quarter of a century, having joined the club as a seven-year old, and has spent fourteen years as part of the first-team.

However, he has moved further down the pecking order this season following the extravagant purchase of Kaka, and the 32-year old may seek a new challenge to continue his career.

Goal.com Spain reports that Everton boss David Moyes is willing to offer Los Blancos in the region of €10m to bring the cultured playmaker to Goodison Park.

It is also thought that Florentino Perez would welcome the revenue generated from the sale of a player in the final stages of his career, but coach Manuel Pellegrini would like to retain Guti as a squad player.

The decision to leave will ultimately lie with the player, and Turkish outfit Galatasaray have also contacted the Spanish side about the availability of one of their longest-serving players.
