Real Zaragoza Enquire Over Ezequiel Garay Of Real Madrid - Report
Despite only having just joined the club, Ezequiel Garay is considering leaving again...
The Argentinian defender moved to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer after signing for Los Merengues last year, when he was allowed to remain with Racing Santander on loan.
But both the board and the coach at Madrid have changed since the initial deal was done, leaving Garay down the pecking order due to the arrival of Raul Albiol and the re-emergence of Christoph Metzelder.
In addition, Los Merengues need to off-load several players as they have 29 professionals in their first-team squad and can only register 25 for the new season.
Garay is concerned that he will not play regularly under Manuel Pellegrini in the year before the World Cup finals in South Africa and is therefore considering making a move.
According to El Periodico de Aragon, Zaragoza have reignited their interest after they first tried to sign the player from Racing two years ago.
Garay's agent has gone on record as saying a switch to Los Manos is "an excellent option and Madrid may also see the plan positively".
