Real Madrid midfielder Wesley Sneijder is likely to have a tough time cracking the first XI at the Santiano Bernabeu this summer, especially with the recent purchase of Liverpool star Xabi Alonso, but the player's agent, Soren Lerby, has ruled out a move to Inter.

"Coach [Manuel] Pellegrini considers him a key player for Real and he is not allowed to leave the club. He remains in Madrid," he told Sky Sport 24 on Tuesday.

Last week, the two clubs had reportedly agreed to send Sneijder to the Nerazzurri this summer on a one-year loan with the option to purchase, but the Dutchman's representative denied any deal is in place.

"I have never talked with the directors of Inter and the transfer to Inter is not possible," he concluded.

Sneijder joined los Blancos in 2007 in a €27 million transfer from Eredvisie giants, Ajax. He made just 22 appearances last season, scoring twice in La Liga.
