Harry Redknapp is looking forward to testing his Tottenham Hotspur side in the prestigious Wembley Cup this weekend against Barcelona and Celtic.
The north London outfit start against the Catalan giants on Friday evening in what will be a stern test, despite the Blaugrana being without several first team regulars.
Then on Sunday, Spurs face Celtic, while Barca take on Egyptian outfit Al-Ahly, and Redknapp is delighted to be a part of such an exciting event.
"Barcelona at the moment are the best team in the world," Redknapp told Tottenham's official club website.
"If you look at the performance in winning the European Cup it makes them champions of Europe and there is no-one in the world who could match them at the moment, apart from Manchester United and Chelsea, who are very close.
"Chelsea were very, very close to beating them (in the sem-final) but they [Barca] proved last season that they were European champions and for me they certainly would be as good a team as there is in the world.
"It will be great to test ourselves against them and Celtic is also a massive club.
"It is a club that has great support, great tradition and wherever they go in the world they take an unbelievable following so Wembley is going to be an absolutely great atmosphere for both games, I'm sure.
"It has the makings of a smashing weekend of football and I am really excited about it.
"Playing Barcelona is just an amazing pre-season game for Tottenham, and playing Celtic as well. The players will be up for it and it will be a great tournament I am sure."
