Alvaro Negredo's Agent Predicts Premier League Move
According to Negredo's agent, there is a 95% chance of the striker playing in England next year...
Negredo has been bought back to Real Madrid, but there does not appear to be much future at the club for him. Indeed, Los Merengues have tried to involve him in swap deals for various players, rendering his future even more uncertain.
According to his agent, Juanma Lopez, however, Negredo is likely to end up in the Premier League. Speaking to AS, he said, "There is a 95% chance that Negredo will go to the Premier League."
While the specific destination was not specified, Liverpool would appear to be the favourites. There is, of course, a strong Spanish influence at the club, and they have registered their interest in the past.
However, any move to Anfield is likely to be a separate affair from Real Madrid's pursuit of Xabi Alonso, as Liverpool have made it clear that they are not interested in a cash plus player deal.
