Report: Salvio's Agent Ready For Atletico Madrid Talks

Atletico are keen to snap up the Argentine and will meet with his agent tomorrow to discuss a move...

Eduardo Salvio - Lanus

Agustin Jimenez, the agent of Argentine sensation Salvio is to travel to Madrid tomorrow to try and negotiate a transfer to Atletico Madrid.

Salvio himself is eager for his agent to sort out the deal, telling AS, "There is nothing concrete."

"I know that my agent spoke to Lanus about the possibility of a move to Atleti. That is why he is going to Madrid.

"I have already said that I want to play in La Liga with Atletico Madrid."

However, a transfer is still some way from being completed.

Lanus want a sum of around €12-15 million, which Atleti can not afford until they sell some players.

Jose Manuel Jurado, Cleber Santana and Jose Antonio Reyes are all returning from loan spells and could be sold on, whereas Maxi Rodriguez's future is also in doubt.
