Shakhtar Donetsk Put €20 Million Price Tag On Barcelona Target Chygrynskiy - Reports

The Ukrainian club are keen not to let the defender go for anything less than €20 million...

Thierry Henry (Barcelona) and Dmytro Chygrynskiy (Shakhtar Donetsk) battling it out in Ukraine. Shakhtar led until the last five minutes, yet contrived to lose in somewhat controversial yet astounding fashion.
Shakhtar Donetsk have reportedly told Barcelona that they are not willing to sell highly-rated defender Dmytro Chygrynskiy for anything less than €20 million.

The Ukrainian side are aware that the youngster is wanted by some of Europe's top clubs and, as such, are keen to make the most from his sale, if they are forced to let him go.

Although officially, the president of Shakhtar Rinat Akhmetov has said that Chygrynskiy is not for sale, Sport reports that €20 million is the price tag they have put on him and they are not willing to lower it.

For his part, the coach of the first team Mircea Lucescu revealed on Thursday that Barcelona were talking to the club about the defender, but he stated that the president had told the Catalans he did not want to sell.

It is thought that the Ukrainian side are not happy that Barcelona have seemingly devalued the player by offering under the price set by the president.

Hence, if Barcelona are to sign Chygrynskiy, then they will have to pay the required amount, which seems unlikely at the moment.

As well as Chygrynskiy they have also targetted Filipe Luis and Bruno Alves, both of whom could cost somewhere in the region of €20 million also.
