Barcelona To Offer Valencia Caceres, Keirrison & €40m For David Villa
Barca are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of 'El Guaje', as they prepare an offer possibly too good to refuse...
Barcelona are preparing a mega bid for David Villa as they seek a swift resolution to negotiations.
According to Sport, the Blaugrana are prepared to offer Valencia €40 million plus Martin Caceres on a permanent deal and Keirrison on loan. While this is not a final offer, it is believed that Barca are unwilling to offer too much more.
Keirrison is expected to sign a five-year contract with Barcelona on Tuesday, and the club are keen for him to get some top-flight experience away from the pressures of the Camp Nou. Indeed, Valencia have been tracking him for some time, and tried to sign him in January.
Caceres, meanwhile, failed to impress in his first season at the club, even being overlooked at centre-back in favour of Yaya Toure towards the latter stages. He would fill a hole at Valencia, with Raul Albiol already having been sold to Real Madrid.
Manchester United are said to have offered €48 million for Villa, but Barca can count on his desire to stay in Spain in their favour.
