Borussia Mönchengladbach Sign Juan Arango From Mallorca
After weeks of speculation regarding his future, Arango has finally found a new club...
Juan Arango will be playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach next season, after Mallorca confirmed that they had agreed a deal with the Bundesliga club.
As reported by Goal.com Spain, Mönchengladbach will pay a fee of €3.6 million to Mallorca for the 29-year-old Venezuelan's services.
Arango arrived in Mallorca in 2004 and has undoubtedly been one of their most important players throughout his stay, having scored 45 goals in 183 appearances.
The midfielder has also won 83 caps for his country and is widely regarded as the finest player Venezuela have ever produced. In his home country he is known as 'Arangol' and has also been given the nickname 'Caribbean Hurricane'.
Having beaten off competition from the likes of Celtic and Hoffenheim, Mönchengladbach will be delighted to have won the race for his signature.
