Kalu Uche Is Not Going Anywhere - Almeria's Technical Secretary

The striker is in high demand this summer apparently...

Almeria technical secretary, Alberto Benito, is adamant that forward Kalu Uche is not leaving this summer and only a very big offer would change that.

The Nigerian has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, and reportedly a couple of other European clubs are after him.

However, speaking to AS, Benito gave no indication that Uche will be leaving Almeria during the transfer window.

"Uche is a key player in our team and the club are going to do anything to keep him," he explained.

"Only a very big offer could change our mind, even if we would assess every aspect of the operation...For the moment, he is not going anywhere."

Spurs have reportedly sent scouts to the watch 26-year-old but these statements from Benito may well put an end to any potential move to the Premier League.

Uche joined Almeria three seasons ago and has impressed during his time in La Primera Division, playing over 100 times for the Andalucian side.
