Kaka has revealed that he has a personal dream to be crowned as the best player in world football again as well as hoping to be able to help Real Madrid to start winning trophies once more.
The Brazilian star has joined Los Merengues this summer for €67 million and has already set his sights on winning the Ballon d'Or award once more at the Bernabeu.
While many wait to see what impression he will make in Spain, Kaka is confident he can be a success and also wants to step up a level with Brazil.
“I hope to win another Ballon d’Or soon, although my first priority is winning titles with my club and national team. Individual accolades will come once that happens," he is quoted as saying by Real Madrid's official website.
With Brazil participating in the Confederations Cup, Kaka is hopeful that they can live up to their billing as favourites with only a year to go before the World Cup Finals in South Africa.
“Brazil always tends to be the favourite, but this tournament is a great test for us because we usually only play against teams from South America," he continued.
"Now we have to go up against the best from every continent. This should serve as good preparation for the World Cup.
“Everything is well-organized and Africa is ready to host the World Cup next year. It should serve as an example for Brazil heading into World Cup 2014.”
