Player Ratings: Deportivo La Coruna 1-1 Barcelona
Barcelona were below their best this evening but still managed to grab a point from their match with Deportivo La Coruna and Goal.com was on hand to rate all those on show at the Riazor...
Aranzubia 6.5 - Wasn't as busy as his opposite number but he made some smart saves to deny the Barcelona forwards, and could do nothing about the goal.
Manuel Pablo 6.0 - Did well in defence and also got forward to help out the attack too.
Ze Castro 6.0 - Strong at the back and restricted Barcelona to mainly long range efforts, aside from the late goal scored by Eto'o.
Lopo 6.5 - Like his partner in defence, he was strong, determined and didn't give any of the Barcelona forwards too much time on the ball.
Filipe 6.5 - Has been in impressive form this season and yet again he put in a good display as he burst forward down the flanks and defended well too.
Sergio 6.0 - Never really got involved in the match and even though he didn't play badly, he was not one of the better players on the pitch.
Juan Rodriguez 5.5 - Missed a glorious chance to open the scoring in the first ten minutes when he had a free header in the box and didn't atone for that error.
Pablo Alvarez 6.0 - Battled hard against the Barcelona midfield and managed to find the front men with some decent passes too.
Valeron 6.5 - One of the better players for Depor this evening and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet when Pinto tipped a shot of his brilliantly around the post.
Guardado 7.0 - Showed why he is so highly rated this evening as he tormented the Barcelona defence with his running and the only disappointment is that he didn't finish the chances he had.
Bodipo 5.0 - Might have got the goal for Depor but the amount of chances he missed was staggering and had he taken just a couple of them the game would have been out of sight.
SUBS
Lafita 6.0 - Came on and added some spark in attack but like the other forwards, he spurned some good opportunities.
Verdu 6.0 - Didn't have time to change the match.
Riki 5.5 - Came on and didn't add anything to the team at all.
BARCELONA
Pinto 8.0 - Absolutely superb display from the second choice goalkeeper and without his saves this evening, Barcelona would have lost this match by two or three goals.
Caceres 5.0 - Got caught out of position a few times this evening and must be thankful his goalkeeper was in such good form.
Toure 5.5 - Certainly not the same player who kept Manchester United at bay on Wednesday and was chasing the ball too much this evening.
Pique 4.5 - Compared to his rock-solid performance against United, this was a very poor showing from Pique and the fact he was taken off after 65 minutes says it all.
Sylvinho 6.5 - One of the best Barcelona players this evening as he not only defended well but also got forward and troubled the Depor backline.
Keita 6.0 - An ordinary performance from the midfielder and he didn't do anything special in attack or in defence.
Xavi 6.5 - As always the Spaniard put in a decent shift and controlled much of the play in the centre of the field.
Gudjohnsen 6.0 - Worked hard but didn't really get the breaks in what could be his last appearance for Barcelona.
Bojan 7.0 - Promising performance from the youngster as he tested the goalkeeper a few times and also played a delightful ball over the top for Eto'o to score from.
Hleb 5.0 - Given the chance to prove himself and didn't take it as he ran into too many blind-alleys and looked a shadow of the player he was at Arsenal.
Eto'o 5.5 - It was obvious from the start that the striker was operating on a shoot on sight policy in a bid to catch Forlan in the race for the Pichichi and, even though he got a goal late on, he wasn't at his best.
SUBS
Botia 6.0 - Looked solid enough and perhaps improved the Barcelona defence.
Abraham 6.0 - Came on late.
