thumbnail Hello,

The Madrid side are currently one point above the relegation zone...

Roberto Soldado has said that Getafe think they will stay up this season, despite being just a point above the bottom three and facing an away trip to Racing Santander this weekend.

The side from the capital picked up a vital win on Saturday as they beat Numancia and will be looking for all three points at El Sardinero.

However, they have one of the worst away records in the league and have only picked up three wins away from home all season.

Speaking to Radio Marca, former Real Madrid striker Soldado told how the side are confident they can stay up.

"The game against Santander is a final. We are confident and the fans have shown their support, what we have to do now is go out and win the game," he explained.

One positive note for Getafe is that Racing have nothing to play for coming into the match, aside from bonuses, which they have reportedly been offered by other clubs as an incentive.

Soldado says that this does not interest his team though and that the main reason players want to win is for pride.

"Racing will be looking to win the game. The bonuses do not matter, because what is most important is the pride of the players. With or without bonuses, we are convinced that we will stay in La Primera," he said.
