Barcelona have included Thierry Henry and Andres Iniesta in their squad ahead of the Champions League final after the duo trained on Monday.

Coach Pep Guardiola was given a boost after both players joined their team-mates for the last session ahead of the journey to Rome, even though they did not maintain the same level.

Henry has been out since picking up a knock in el Clasico against Real Madrid when he was caught on the knee by Sergio Ramos and has missed every game since.

Iniesta suffered a slight tear in his thigh muscle in the league game against Villarreal after he had netted the dramatic late equaliser at Chelsea to send Barca into the Champions League final.

Both players have worked hard to be fit for the final, but they will undergo tests ahead of the encounter before Guardiola decides whether they are ready to play or not.

Young defenders Alberto Botia and Marc Muniesa have also been included in the travelling party for the game against Manchester United as the Blaugrana defence is affected by injuries.

Muniesa was sent off on his first-team debut at the weekend against Osasuna, but has been named as Dani Alves, Rafa Marquez, Eric Abidal and Gaby Milito are all unavailable.
