Real Madrid Haven't Bid For David Villa, Silva, Juan Mata & Raul Albiol - Valencia President
The outgoing champions' links to four Valencia stars have been dismissed by the club's under-pressure president...
Valencia have not received a mega bid from Real Madrid for four of their players and are not expecting to receive any huge offer in the summer, according to their president, Vicente Soriano.
Florentino Perez is favourite to win the Bernabeu presidential elections and he was reported to be preparing to offer €120 million for Raul Albiol, Juan Mata, David Silva and David Villa.
While los Che are expected to sell several players at the end of the current campaign in order to help ease their dire financial situation, the president says they are not preparing to let too many go.
Madrid have been linked with all four players throughout the season, but only last week has talk about a mega offer for all of them surfaced as Perez prepares his election manifesto.
Soriano, though, has rejected all talk of the players leaving en masse to join los Merengues' rebuilding programme.
"I think it's the umpteenth time that this sort of thing has happened. The news is totally false and I very much doubt that at any moment it'll be true," Sporting Life quote him as saying.
