No Chance Of Guti Joining Corinthians - Agent
Corinthians may have to look elsewhere for a creative midfielder after Guti's representative ruled out any chance of him going there...
The veteran playmaker was linked with a move to the Sao Paulo-based outfit with recent reports suggesting that Bernabeu presidential favourite, Florentino Perez, would look to off-load him if, or when, he is elected.
"There is no possibility of that. Guti has more than two years left on his contract with Real Madrid and will remain," the player's agent, Zoran Vekic, told Globoesporte.
"He's not talked with anyone at Corinthians and, with all due respect to them, there is nothing in this."
Under previous Madrid president Ramon Calderon, Guti signed a 'lifetime' agreement with the club to stay until he is 34-years-old and that means that he has two years left on the deal.
Instead of looking to leave, the midfielder wants to stay, although rumours are already suggesting that he could be tempted by an offer from the English Premier League.
