Barcelona Plan Summer Move For Arsenal Captain Fabregas - Report
Six years after he left, Cesc could be returning to the Camp Nou...
Cesc Fabregas, the Arsenal captain, could be set for a summer return to Barcelona.
According to Sport, Barca are keen to regain the services of Fabregas, who left the club for the Gunners when he was 16. Indeed, they are keen to conclude the deal post haste, before the midfielder gets tempted by Florentino Perez at Real Madrid.
The Blaugrana are prepared to allow Fabregas to play one more season at Arsenal, as long as he agrees to a move at the end of it. Alternatively, he could make the move this summer.
The only factor denying an official approach is the impending Champions League final, which is the sole focus of the club. As soon as the season is over, however, Fabregas will be sounded out.
It remains to be seen just how interested the player would be to rejoin the Catalan club within the aforementioned timespan, although he has stated that he aims to play in the Primera Division at some point.
