Diarra And Heinze Embarrassed By Barcelona's Triumph At Real Madrid
It was a night both Lass and Gabby want to forget, as Barca strolled to a famous victory...
After seeing their Real Madrid side capitulate to a devastating 6-2 loss to Barcelona, Lassana Diarra and Gabriel Heinze spoke of their immense sadness.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Heinze said, "They scored at exactly the wrong times for us.
"When we grew in confidence, they crushed us. Every time we thought we were in the game, they scored.
"All we can do is recognise that they were superior. Quite simply, we played a terrible match. We are all very sad."
Diarra, meanwhile, echoed similar sentiments, describing the match as a "horrible night".
"The league is 90 per cent Barcelona's," he continued, "because it is almost impossible that they will lose three games.
"They were better and stronger. We did not know how to maintain our lead, and they scored very quickly."
Real Madrid now face another tough encounter, away to Valencia.
