Gerard Pique believes that Barcelona are in a good position after their goalless draw with Chelsea and held back on joining his team-mates in condemning the referee.
The Blaugrana defender is confident that his side can look forward to the second leg in London after dominating the game in Camp Nou, which saw them enjoy the majority of possession.
Chelsea's attempts to break up the play and slow the game down were helped by the referee's whistle, but Pique opted to take the positives from the encounter.
“Everybody saw the referee’s decisions and there is nothing we can do about that," he said.
“We dominated the game and the statistics show that. We had 69 per cent possession.
“But I think that 0-0 is a great result. We need not be afraid of anything."
Barcelona will have to reorganise their back four for the trip to Stamford Bridge after Carles Puyol picked up a booking that will see him be suspended and Rafael Marquez suffered a knee injury.
“Marquez and Puyol are two very important players for the team," Pique added.
