Higuain And Gago Facing El Clasico Suspension
Real Madrid will be without two of their key players for the biggest game of the season, should they pick up a booking against Sevilla...
Gonzalo Higuain and Fernando Gago are walking a suspension tightrope, as they prepare for Real Madrid's match against Sevilla.
The pair are both one yellow card away from suspension, meaning that any booking picked up at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan will result in them missing the Clasico.
Indeed, Higuain was supposed to miss the match, but the Spanish Federation overturned his booking against Getafe.
Should either of the pair be suspended for next week's blockbuster clash, Juande Ramos faces a major selection headache, given that Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben and Pepe are already ruled out, in addition to the long term injuries of Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Mamadou Diarra.
Due to his sparse resources, Juande Ramos has called Julien Faubert up to the squad, for the first time in five weeks.
