Nihat Kahveci: Villarreal Can Beat Arsenal In The Champions League
The team will have to play perfectly and without two key players, however, Nihat Kahveci thinks that Villarreal can knock Arsenal out of the Champions League...
Nihat Kahveci is convinced that Villarreal can beat the odds and defeat Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday evening, despite being without two key players in midfield.
The Turkish international striker recognised that the absence of Santi Cazorla and Marcos Senna will mean the Yellow Submarine have to shuffle their pack, but he thinks that victory is still possible. In order for the visitors to beat the Gunners, Nihat thinks that they will have to produce a flawless performance.
"It's a huge challenge without Senna and Cazorla but we can't think about who is not playing," The Mirror quote him saying.
"We know we will miss them from midfield but we have to score goals and we are confident we can do that because we showed in the first leg that we are superior to Arsenal.
"We will give everything and we know we have nothing to lose. It won't be easy but it won't take a miracle either.
“Arsenal have good players... But our mission is to stop them playing so that we can go through. If we play a perfect match we can do it."
