Valencia Want Bojan Krkic To Replace David Villa - Report
Bojan Krkic could be offered the chance to play regularly in La Primera from Valencia if they receive an offer that they cannot refuse for David Villa...
Valencia want to reach a deal with Barcelona to sign Bojan Krkic on loan for two years if and when they sell David Villa in the summer, according to a report.
Los Che are considering life without their star striker next season and are lining possible replacements with the Blaugrana forward and Almeria's Alvaro Negredo at the top of their wish list.
Krkic has not been a regular in the Barca first team this season under Pep Guardiola, but the club will be loathe to let him leave on a full-time basis.
The Valencia sports daily, Super Deporte, has stated that the offer of regular first team football may appeal to Krkic if the deal was made concrete.
Barcelona have been linked with Villa himself, but are the midst of deciding whether to extend Samuel Eto'o's contract at Camp Nou or cash in on him a year before he can leave for free.
Villa has said this week that he would like to stay at the Mestalla, but if a huge offer is received then the club would have little choice but to sell him given their financial problems.
Interest in Negredo has also been widely reported, but Valencia now face competition from Sevilla, according to reports, and that is why Krkic appears to a preferable option.
