Maybe Valencia Should Sell Silva And Villa - Joaquin

The winger has suggested that it might be the best option for the club...

Sanchez Joaquin - Valencia
Joaquin has admitted today that it might be worth Valencia selling David Villa and David Silva to get out of their financial trouble.

The club have not been able to pay some of the players lately and it is thought they will have to offload plenty of them this summer.

As for Joaquin personally, he could well have to return to Real Betis as Valencia cannot afford to continue paying his transfer fee.

He told COPE that he did not want to speak about his own situation but said that the overall analysis is not good.

"Evidently we are worried with what is happening and the economic problems of the club. We will see what happens with our futures and whether Valencia has to sell players, but now is not the time to talk about Betis," he mused.

"Maybe it is worth selling Villa and Silva as they are the ones who would fetch the most money, or maybe it isn't. We will have to see."

The winger was also questioned about rumours surrounding the possible return of Lorenzo Serra Ferrer to Real Betis.

He admitted that "it will not be easy, but I have learned that in football anything can happen. Betis is a very good team and everyone wants to go back".

Finally, he avoided talking about his friend Juanito, who is thought to be joining Atletico Madrid this summer, saying, "I know nothing about it. I speak with him often but I do not ask about that."
