Barcelona's Iniesta: I Do Not Care What Real Madrid Say

Barcelona are unaffected by any exterior talk about their current dip in form and Andres Iniesta is not interested in what Real Madrid's players and directors are saying.

Iniesta - Barcelona

Andres Iniesta has stated that Barcelona's squad is unaffected by comments and reports emanating from Real Madrid that the pressure is a big issue in Camp Nou.

Despite qualifying for the Copa del Rey final on Wednesday evening, the draw against Real Mallorca meant that the Blaugrana have now gone five games without a win.

Media and fans alike are speculating that Barça could stumble and with Real Madrid now only four points behind, they too are speaking about the situation at the Catalan club.

"The reality is that we had a 12-point lead and there is a long way to go in the league," Iniesta told reporters.

"But we continue being the leaders and others can say they want.

"It does not bother me what Guti or the president say."

Two years ago Real Madrid reigned in and then overtook Barcelona to win the title under Fabio Capello, but Iniesta does not think there is any similarity this time around.

"I do not think it is like it was two years ago because of the way things are being done now. The feeling within the squad this year is that we are going to achieve our goals," he continued.

"The team that wins leagues at the end of the season always have moments like these.

"We will be back to show that we are championship winning team or not."
