Luis Fabiano has declared today that he wants to help Sevilla when they face Athletic Bilbao in the Copa Del Rey this week.
The Brazilian has not been able to play for the Andalucian side since the quarter-finals with Valencia, and is not thought to be fully fit.
However, he told AS that he even though his knee "hurts a lot" it is "getting a lot better" with the work he is doing "twice a day".
"It is an important match for Sevilla and I want to help the side," Fabiano declared.
"I have trained very well in the past few days, and now, we must try to win and qualify for the final."
He admitted that he is not sure if we will play yet, but he has travelled with the side to Bilbao.
"I do not know if I will start, but I go there wanting to play and to help. I feel strong, the knee hurts a little but I will continue to push on," he said.
"In these types of games we give our best. We respect Athletic, but we know how we can play and we have a lot of quality. I believe the game tomorrow will be hard, but I hope Sevilla can win and reach the final."
