SKAI And Forthnet To Acquire Greek Super League Coverage
It's a three-pronged deal for Greek Super League rights involving SKAI, Forthnet and NOVA.
Greek Super League chairman Kostas Piladakis says TV stations SKAI and Nova are close to securing the rights for the competition for the next three years.
Olympiakos and Skoda Xanthi are the only clubs who are not going to be part of the deal, with their matches to be covered by government-owned channel ERT.
Following a board meeting during which the television rights were discussed, the Greek Super League chairman also announced that internet service providers Forthnet would be part of the deal.
“As you know an agreement was reached with SKAI and Forthnet and within 7-10 days the deals will have been formally concluded,” Piladakis said.
